How Dymista Affects Patients

Fluticasone propionate is a drug that activates certain receptors in the body to reduce inflammation, particularly in the lungs. When used topically, it has been shown to help constrict the blood vessels in the skin.

How Dymista works in the body

Fluticasone propionate helps reduce inflammation in the lungs. Its exact mechanism is not known, but it appears to work by activating certain receptors and reducing the number of eosinophils in the lungs.

When to interrupt dosage

The prescribed dose of Dymista is contingent upon the diagnosed condition, including Sinusitis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Non-Allergic Rhinitis. The quantity of dosage shifts, as per the given delivery system (e.g. Spray, metered - Nasal or Respiratory (inhalation)) featured in the table beneath.

Dymista for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy

I had sinus surgery three times and was still constantly dealing with infections, so my ENT recommended Dymista. I've been using it nightly for six months now and have not had a single issue with my sinuses. The taste is a little strange at first, but that's the only downside I can think of. It's much better than having to take antibiotics every few months.

Dymista for Non-Seasonal Allergic Runny Nose

I was first prescribed this medication by a doctor in Mexico for my allergic rhinitis-induced night coughing. I'm so pleased with how well it works; I now only use it before bed and sleep great!

Dymista for Non-Seasonal Allergic Runny Nose

Even though it's pricey and not covered by Australian insurance, this medication has done wonders after years of other treatments having no effect. It's worth every penny. I don't know why other reviewers mention taste or smell; all I experience is a sharp nostril-buzz that stops immediately and gets to work!

Dymista for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy

This product has really helped me to breathe better and sleep through the night. My husband is also happy because I don't snore anymore.

Dymista for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy

This nasal spray is fantastic. I can breathe through my nose and the inflammation has gone down immediately! Is it too good to be true? I don't know, but I'm going to stick with it. It also gives me energy...

Dymista for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy

I've been using Dymista for three months now, and it's made a huge difference in my sinus congestion and post-nasal drip. I had sinus surgery back in January 2020, but even after that I was still struggling with breathing difficulties and a croaky voice. But since adding Dymista to my daily routine (along with some extra antihistamines for good measure), I'm finally starting to feel better. I can breathe more easily, and my voice is sounding normal again.

Dymista for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy

This helped me to stop snoring, stopped the sore throat and bad breath, stopped inflammation of my face, made me feel more revitalised and minimised headaches and what felt like migraines. I seem to get dehydrated on this nasal spray so I need to up my water intake when using it

Dymista for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy

This nasal spray is very effective at clearing up my stuffy nose. The only downside is the smell, which can be quite off-putting. Additionally, it's on the pricier side.

Dymista for Non-Seasonal Allergic Runny Nose

Dymista caused me to have eczema, which was diagnosed as fungal. Now, years later, I finally got diagnosed with fragrance allergy and balsam of Peru allergy. Turns out this 'medicine' is fragranced! That is just insane. Why would one put fragrance in a nasal spray that's used against allergies?!

Dymista for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy

Unfortunately, this did not work for me. The smell left over is offputting, the nose releases blood coloured snot and runs forever. I am suprised this product is still being sold without a caution.

Dymista for Seasonal Runny Nose

Flixanase is a much better investment than this medication. I took it alongside other antihistamines and it still didn't work for me. By the afternoon, my eyes and nose were running even more than before.

Dymista for Inflammation of the Nose due to an Allergy

This caused me so many problems. Avoid it if you can. I experienced brain fog, anxiety, depression, and a really dry nose. It's not worth the trouble.
