Summary

This trial will test whether a new telehealth intervention can help people with running-related knee pain.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for active duty soldiers or cadets aged 18-60 who experience knee pain rated between 3 to 7 on a pain scale during/after running, not caused by recent trauma. Participants must speak and read English fluently.
What is being tested?
The study tests if telehealth gait retraining can improve knee pain in runners. It compares two groups: one gets standard care plus the retraining, while the other just gets standard care. Progress is checked at baseline, after 10 weeks, and after 14 weeks.
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves physical therapy and exercise programs rather than medication, side effects may include muscle soreness or fatigue due to new exercises but are generally expected to be minimal.
