This trial aims to create a mental health counseling program to help people affected by COVID-19. They want to understand how a COVID-19 diagnosis impacts mental health and social factors, and how counseling can

Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults over 18 who had COVID-19 in the last year and face challenges like economic or social issues because of it. They must have internet access, live in certain New Mexico counties, and not be getting counseling already. People with recent severe mental health crises can't join.
What is being tested?
The study tests a mental health counseling program to help with problems caused by COVID-19. It includes individual interviews, both one-on-one and group counseling sessions, plus resources tailored to participants' specific needs.
What are the potential side effects?
While this trial doesn't involve medication so typical drug side effects aren't expected, participating in counseling could bring up uncomfortable emotions or stress as individuals work through their experiences related to COVID-19.
