Summary
This trial examines how heading a soccer ball affects college-aged players with and without ADHD. Participants will head a soccer ball multiple times, and researchers will use blood tests, brain scans, and eye tests to see how their brains are affected.

Group I: No history or current diagnosis of ADHD and subconcussive head impactsExperimental Treatment1 Intervention
Non-ADHD Group: Individuals with no current or prior diagnosis of ADHD.
Device: Soccer Heading Soccer Heading: Subjects stood approximately 40 feet away from a JUGS soccer ball launcher and participated in 20 consecutive soccer headings, separated by one minute intervals.
Group II: ADHD diagnosis and subconcussive head impactsExperimental Treatment1 Intervention
ADHD Group: Individuals clinically diagnosed with ADHD, currently taking his/her prescribed ADHD medication.
Device: Soccer Heading Soccer Heading: Subjects stood approximately 40 feet away from a JUGS soccer ball launcher and participated in 20 consecutive soccer headings, separated by one minute intervals.
