Summary
This trial aims to study how listening to music can benefit health and wellness. Participants will answer questions about their past experiences and mental health, listen to music, and then provide feedback on how it affected them
Who is the study for?
This trial is for individuals experiencing conditions like Primary Dysautonomia, Anxiety, Autonomic Dysregulation, and Depression. Participants will be asked to complete pre- and post-assessment measures online and listen to a 30-minute music session during a workshop at a local conference.
What is being tested?
The study aims to see if relaxing music can improve health by affecting the autonomic nervous system. It looks at how people's initial reactions might predict benefits from the music and what personal traits affect these outcomes.
What are the potential side effects?
Listening to relaxing music is generally safe but may cause varying emotional responses depending on individual sensitivities or past experiences with certain types of music.
