Summary

This trial is testing if specific breathing exercises can help people with GERD by strengthening their diaphragm to control acid reflux. Patients will practice these exercises regularly and will be monitored over time. Diaphragmatic breathing exercises have been shown to improve symptoms of GERD by enhancing the function of the lower esophageal sphincter and the crural diaphragm.
