What is being tested?
The study examines the influence of continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) on eating habits in individuals managing their own weight loss. It looks into how CGMs affect food selection and purchase decisions among people who buy groceries and consume packaged foods from mainstream stores.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves monitoring devices rather than medications or invasive procedures, significant side effects are not anticipated. However, participants may experience minor skin irritation from wearing the CGM device.
