CAR T-Cell Therapy
for Esophageal Cancer
Participants will have a sample of their white blood cells, called T cells, collected using a procedure called leukapheresis. The collected T cells will be sent to a laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering to be changed (modified) to become MSLN-targeted CAR T cells, the CAR T-cell therapy that participants will receive during the study. Participant study therapy will take about 3-4 weeks.

Immunotherapy + Chemoradiation Before Surgery
for Esophageal Cancer
The purpose of this study is to test the safety of adding a new drug, durvalumab (also called MEDI4736), to chemoradiation with either FOLFOX/Capeox or carboplatin and paclitaxel, following initial chemotherapy with FOLFOX. The investigators want to find out what effects, good and/or bad, this combination has on the patient and cancer.
