Trial Summary
What is the purpose of this trial?Fitness is an important determinant for health and influenced by using large muscles. Muscles respond to training. We want to know if adding arm exercise to leg exercise can provide a better training session for healthy individuals. If the strategy shows promise for healthy people then it might work for people with lung disease who have trouble training because of difficulty breathing. The purpose of this first study is to evaluate, in healthy people, a unique approach to training by determining if adding arm exercise to leg exercise can be endured longer than leg exercise alone.
Eligibility Criteria
This trial is for healthy individuals interested in participating in a study to determine if combining arm and leg exercises can enhance fitness more effectively than leg exercise alone. The findings could benefit people with lung diseases.Exclusion Criteria
I have a long-term lung condition.
Treatment Details
The study is testing whether adding arm exercises to traditional leg workouts can extend the duration of training sessions and potentially improve overall fitness levels in healthy participants.
