Summary

This trial aims to find out if Living Healthy and peer coaching can improve the mental health of home health aides.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for English-speaking home health aides over 18 years old, currently working and experiencing mental health challenges like depression, stress, or loneliness. They must have been in the job for at least a year and show signs of poor mental health through specific questionnaires.
What is being tested?
The study tests an 8-week 'Living Healthy' program aimed at improving mental well-being with educational content and support. It compares the outcomes of those who receive this program alone to those who also get help from a trained peer coach.
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves an educational program rather than medication, traditional side effects are not expected. However, participants may experience emotional discomfort when discussing personal issues during the program.
