Testosterone is an important hormone involved in male sexual development and other functions. However, it is a controlled substance in the US because it can be abused by athletes and bodybuilders. Testosterone can be further converted into a more powerful form called dihydrotestosterone. This hormone binds to receptors in the bones, muscles, prostate, and fat tissues and helps regulate these areas. Testosterone can help improve sexual function, increase muscle mass, improve bone
