Other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating are less common. Injections may result in skin irritation at the site of injection. 6/7/2011 Easy to use, although I did experience some gas and thyroid problems. Additionally, it threw my female hormones out of whack, causing hot flashes and menopausal symptoms even though I had already been through menopause for two years. I've only had two shots so far but I was feeling great before starting the shots. Now my hormone levels are all over the place again and I'm not feeling very good.
