Summary
This trial is testing whether cancer patients who exercise are less likely to fall and injure themselves.
Who is the study for?
This trial is for cancer patients, except those with non-melanoma skin cancer. Participants should be able to exercise without restrictions like unstable heart conditions or loss of a limb that would make exercising difficult.
What is being tested?
The study tests an 'exercise prescription' approach using tools like a Perturbation Treadmill, Pedometer, and Actigraph to see if it can reduce falls in high-risk cancer patients by improving muscle strength.
What are the potential side effects?
While the trial itself may not have direct side effects, exercise routines could potentially cause muscle soreness, fatigue, or fall-related injuries if not properly supervised.
