Study Summary

This trial will explore ways to help junior interventionists provide a social communication intervention to children with ASD and measure its effectiveness.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for Senior JASPER Trainers with a Master's degree working in Newfoundland and Labrador, children aged 2-8.11 years diagnosed with autism, and interventionists holding at least a Bachelor's degree in related fields. Children previously treated with JASPER or outside the age range are excluded.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests training methods for junior interventionists by Senior JASPER Trainers to improve social communication in autistic children. It compares standard support against enhanced feedback with peer support or an intensive refresher course if standard gains aren't met.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves educational and behavioral interventions rather than medical treatments, traditional physical side effects are not applicable. However, there may be varying levels of stress or emotional impact on participants involved.
