Who is the study for?
This trial is for healthy adults interested in how supplemental oxygen might affect memory. There are no specific health conditions required to join, but participants should be able to safely receive oxygen through a nasal cannula.
What is being tested?
The study is testing the immediate effects of breathing extra oxygen versus regular air on memory performance. Each participant will try both treatments one after the other while doing memory tests.
What are the potential side effects?
Breathing supplemental oxygen usually has minimal side effects, which may include dry or bloody nose, mild headache, and brief dizziness.
